A buggy tour isn’t your average outing, it’s a thrill-packed, off-road experience that brings you closer to nature in the breathtaking landscapes of Harghita. To fully enjoy the ride, it’s a good idea to come prepared and pack smart.
At Transylvania Adventure Park, we take care of everything when it comes to well equipped vehicles, safety, and helmets – which are mandatory and provided for every tour. All you need to do is dress comfortably and bring a few essentials.
The Essentials. Don’t Leave These Behind:
● Closed, comfortable footwear: Hiking boots or sturdy sneakers are the best choice.
Absolutely no flip-flops or sandals!
● Weather-appropriate clothing: We recommend layering. There’s wind, dust, and
sometimes mud, so a durable or water-repellent jacket can make a big difference.
● Sunglasses & sunscreen: Even in the mountains, sunburn is a risk, and sunlight
reflecting off the trails can be blinding.
● Light gloves: Optional, but they improve your grip on the wheel – especially on cooler
days.
● Water: A small bottle of water is always handy, especially on warm days or longer rides.
● Small backpack or waist bag: Perfect for safely storing your personal items during the
tour.
Tech Tips:
● Phone: Great for taking photos, but make sure it’s in a waterproof case or secure
pocket!
● GoPro or action cam: Want to capture your adventure on video? Bring your camera and
ask our guides for help mounting it.
● Power bank: For longer tours, a backup battery is useful if you don’t want to miss a
moment.
Better Left at Home:
● White clothes (they don’t love mud)
● Expensive jewelry or watches
● Large bags or shoulder purses
